The last week has been all about getting ready for, and going to, the NetSquared Conference (thus no new blog posts since last Thursday), but I'm back home now and getting back into a normal schedule. Now I'm really excited to go to the BlogherConference ! Plus Link TV was there documenting a lot of the conference as well.
I just got back from BlogHer , the largest gathering of female bloggers in America. It's the 5th year of the conference and has grown from a scrappy, homegrown, volunteer effort to a nationally renowned, corporate-sponsored conference. You can get up-to-speed with BlogHer '09 through their official liveblogs.
" For me, live blogging notes from conferences and other gatherings helps me think through my fingers about what is being said in the room (and helps me retain it and share it with others (usually via my blog.) I often see many people taking notes at conference, either with pen in a moleskin or typing into a laptop.
I was beginning to wonder if I had attended blogher at all after stepping off the redeye at Logan at 10:00 a.m. But thanks to the blogher flickr stream and blogher participants with digital cameras, I found a few photos that documented my presence. I'm gearing up to do some live blogging at blogher and NCDD. Over the past year, I've done a lot of live blogging which is basically taking notes at lectures, conferences, and presentations of what was said. At last year's blogher, someone said that live bloggers need to carry around a hip flask in their tool box! publically.
At Blogher, I met JD Lasica and in a jet-lagged state couldn't remember his name as I loaded his photo into my flickr account. I was excited about this because prior to NCDD Conference and the trainings I did, I put together some quick and dirty " cheat sheets " on Web2.0

Some blogs that I read, and don't usually get to write about here, are food blogs, and photoblogs, which are often the same thing since food bloggers use lots of photos in their posts.
