I want to more directly work with people and organizations, primarily focused around faith and spirituality. I want to see people’s real faces, and hear their real voices.
In the comments of my post of Annalee Newitz's talk on the Revenge of the Female Nerds , my friend Anina pointed me her interview on nerdtv. I met and live blogged Anina at Blogher. I loved the interview - especially the "Lies to Tell the Phone Company" bit. And you'd never guess her day job.
I’ve been writing a blog for over a decade and in the early days I got a big boost from Blogher, co-founded by Elisa Camahort Page, one of the co-authors of this book. It includes checklists, interviews, case studies, and lots of illustrations and infographics. Let me know in the comments of this post! It is a must read.

I rather not have a list, but get to know them one-by-one - and these interviews are a way of doing that. In a recent post on Blogher, Virginia DeBolt mentions the list titled 100 Awesome Webmaster Blogs by and for Women by Jimmy Atkinson. (I BlogHer's leadership trio Lisa, Elisa, and Jory was in the number 1 spot.

After I did the interview, I was able to connect the recorder to the computer via USB and download the interview (which I recorded as an MP3 at 44.1K) into my iTunes. I edited the interview in GarageBand and exported it back into my iTunes. Audacity is another free software option you can use to edit podcasts.
