It also requires an RTX 2060 or better; we’re seeing configs with it as low as $2,419.99.). DisplayHDR 600 is better than DisplayHDR 400, but it’s no DisplayHDR 1000.

It’s a lower-powered processor than many that you see in popular Windows devices — it’s currently Qualcomm’s weakest processor for laptops — but Qualcomm claims one of its chief benefits is longer battery life. Acer says you’ll see 14 hours (citing synthetic benchmarks). It’s fairly compact at 2.64 pounds and 0.61 inches thick.

Cutting through games like a hot Blade If you’re after a minimalist, dead-serious-looking gaming laptop, Razer’s Blade is still the one to get. Its aluminum-clad design looks more akin to Microsoft’s Surface Laptop 4 than a laptop that was made for gaming. Otherwise, this laptop is the physical manifestation of dark mode.
