Britt Bravo: In so many of the groups you profiled, the women were using the arts for education, empowerment, or healing. I heard a wonderful story about a woman from Bangladesh who just scrimped to save a dollar to contribute to them. I went to 15 countries on five continents, and interviewed and photographed 129 women.
