Britt Bravo: In so many of the groups you profiled, the women were using the arts for education, empowerment, or healing. One is that women can apply for grants by writing a letter, one page, in their own language, in their own handwriting. I went to 15 countries on five continents, and interviewed and photographed 129 women.
