I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, and both sets of my grandparents came from rural Mississippi. It's just a matter of people becoming more aware of them, supporting these spaces and helping them to proliferate so there will be more. I also like to include art, music, culture and a lot of things that I think get lost in the politics.
