CACRC is an social enterprise in that it does not need to rely on grants to keep operating.

She has been the recipient of many awards, including Fast Company's 2007 Social Capitalist Award, and the League of Women Voters' Women Who Could Be President Award. I think my favorite example of that is a women's group from the highlands of Bolivia who wrote to us maybe seven or eight years ago.
