Ensure that when potential new followers land on your Facebook Page, the design of your cover photo and your avatar is visually compelling. It’s for this reason that your avatar should be well-designed, not include text that is too small to read in the News Feed, or show any obvious errors in cropping.

The profile picture in the upper left of the Page is cropped and scaled perfectly to fit that space and includes a photo of the same representative health care consumers from the parent site. For instance: Info: Standard page. A blue gradient extends below the profile picture to make it feel integrated into the page.

The organization is asking supporters to change their Twitter, MySpace, and Facebook avatars at 1:10 on Friday, March 6th to the "oneten" avatar. One of the events listed is an exhibition of photos at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris from the book Celebrating Women by Paola Gianturco (who I interviewed in October 2007).
