Why not implement some of these real-time gaming mechanisms not as simulations, but as opportunities for guests to be aware of and log themselves through the museum?

One possibility would have been to temporarily change our avatars to include a visual cue–like the Visible Government maple leaf–for all those officially behind the campaign. Megabloggers like Tim O’Reilly , Om Malik , Austin Hill , Michael Geist , Tara Hunt , Mathew Ingram and others generated a ton of traffic and awareness.
