In general, it needs to be 30 or 60 seconds in length: PSA by the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS). You can still tell a story and it should have a hook and conclusion, but it cannot include opinions or words such as “best” “fun” “entertaining” etc. You should always lead with the facts!

We have cases with museum objects that people told stories about, with large images of those storytellers adjacent to the object, and in the middle of the gallery is a long rectangular table with touchscreens where people can access all the stories that have been recorded. For example, Forum One worked with the Oregon Zoo to redesign their site as part of a strategic effort to deliver an inspiring guest experience and better convey the Zoo’s offerings and impact.
