KRS1 would go on to become an expert at using music as a vehicle for social change (a whole other blog post), but early on it was all about telling his own story. After going to Amoeba, we visited a few artists' studios as part of the East Bay Open Studios , including the Institute for Mosaic Arts. I haven't stopped listening to it since.
