The GATC’s most distinguished project to date is the Genesis World Music Ensemble, or the Saffron Caravan, which brings together music artists from the Middle East, North Africa and the Americas to revisit, reinvent and link musical traditions. Their performance served as a finale to GATC’s two-day ethnic music festival.

They launched an annual fundraiser and gift-collecting drive for the children's hospital in their community (in WA). It was about woman entrepreneurs who were sending their children to school with the money they earned, even though they were living themselves on a dollar a day.
