Our second Impact Lab recently announced the Financial Aid Chatbot to support students as they navigate the FAFSA application. Today, people of color and low-income communities are more likely to be impacted by natural disasters, live close to hazardous waste, and die of environmental causes.

The package also includes $15B in new funding for targeted Economic Injury Disaster Loan grants providing flexible grant relief. It also provides $2.75B to “non-public” schools serving students from low-income families. At least 50% of this funding must go towards emergency financial aid for students.
