During the past two weeks, links shared via the #nptech hashtag on Twitter have been like a Chinese buffet, a huge selection of tempting dishes that look so good you want to fill an entire plate. I've been doing this for ten years as part of the annual NTEN Day of Service for the NTC. NTEN has two fantastic events this month!
Many NTEN Members are taking part in #GivingTuesday this year, and we asked our Members to share their campaign plans. Candy Cane Corner is a partnership between The Road Home, YWCA Utah, and Volunteers of America, UT to help bring holiday magic and cheer to needy families in the community. Thanks to a scholarship from NTEN, I was given the opportunity to fly to Sydney to attend the ConnectingUp! Many of the conference workshops helped in making me more aware of how to become a technology leader, not only within our organization but in sharing what I've learned with 211s across North America.
