Empowerment for our participants comes from connecting to an inner wisdom that is often kept hidden from public view, but is a place of extraordinary innate strength and well being. We are also funding very special after school art classes in Afghanistan through our partnership with Trust In Education. We have come a long way!

The Women of Color Resource Center has been around for a little over 17 years and we are a pretty impressive place, I think, because we are one of the very few places in the nation, and globally, that holds the interest of women of color, and girls of color as a central piece of our work. Participate in workshops, lead a workshop.

Women and girls in particular have felt the impacts of a never-ending global health pandemic, conflict and displacement, and authoritarian government takeovers, to name a few. The takeover by the Taliban in Afghanistan earlier this year instantly sent the future of girls and women in that country into chaos. and globally.
