NTEN has just announced the first NTC video competition. In fact, there's an NTEN Affinity Group for video blogging where you can get advice, ask questions, or share what you know. Machinima with Issues Engaging and provocative uses of machinima as art, advocacy, and evidence will be presented and discussed.

Flickr Commons Project: Smithsonian Institution I've been neglecting my Member News roundups, but it's not because I don't care -- it's a combination of you guys all being super active and NTEN being consumed by NTC prep. This Challenge encourages innovations with mobile technologies in human rights investigations and advocacy.

Nonprofit organizations are encouraged to submit their videos to the contest, hosted on DoGooderTV , the video sharing platform for nonprofits. The grand prize winner will be announced at NTEN’s annual Nonprofit Technology Conference (NTC) in New Orleans on March 21. The finalists will be shown on www.DoGooder.tv

NTEN set up an event area on Slideshare for the NTC 2010. Some events have set up branded channels, like the Bar Camp Channel. (5) NTEN’s WeAreMedia project has taken this a step further and uses Slideshare so trainers can remix each other’s decks. (7) 8) Advocacy. 6) Training. 7) Fundraising.
