Transitioning from SCORM to xAPI

On October 5 th , 2017, the Department of Defense announced that its eLearning curricula would adhere to xAPI standards rather than the more traditional SCORM standards of the eLearning industry. Some SCORM authoring tools promise to do just that. It completely misses the point of adopting the xAPI standard.
