I just returned from the Nonprofit Technology Conference (#12NTC) hosted by NTEN in San Francisco, CA. Holly and the rest of the NTEN team (including all the volunteers) did an incredible job inspiring of over 1800 people for three days. At the end of the day, calculating the real value of a Facebook Like or Twitter Follower is tough.

Even though response rates for nonprofit emails continued to slide in 2013, online giving was up as email and social media audiences and web traffic kept climbing. Online giving was up 14% in 2013, with monthly giving revenue up 25% compared to 2012. Facebook fans were up 37% and Twitter followers were up 46% in 2013.
