Many charities or nonprofits only require activists to “like our Facebook page” or “retweet this” or “hashtag that.” Kony 2012 turned slacktivism on its head. In the end, Kony 2012 made some noise and was a success, but it was still considered slacktivism. Need to update your marketing skills? But does that really help?
