There’s always great information in the newsletter, but this time around I’m particularly excited because the focus is socialnetworking for non-profits (something that, if you read this blog regularly, you know I’m very passionate about) and the 2011SocialNetworking Survey.

While at SXSW 2011 I had the chance to talk with David J. Help ) while also becoming COO for a technology startup that helps non-profits raise money through social media ( HelpAttack )! and how the future of online fundraising is heavily tied to peoples socialnetworks. This week ReadWriteWeb shed some light on the ineffectiveness of socialnetworks to aid in customer acquisition (see graph below). “Of the 24 companies interviewed (in Forrester study ), only 7% cited socialnetworking as one of their most effective sources for customer acquisition.
