The communitymanager has been around longer than you may think – and I'm not trying to be like Malcolm Gladwell by drawing (questionable) parallels to pre-Internet practices. Today's CommunityManager had her start in the chat rooms and discussion/support forums of yesteryear. I also informally polled the NTEN community.
