I think of myself in these terms: I educate, facilitate, mediate, and problem-solve. I kinda thought that was surprising, but in thinking about what I write, I realize that people could get the wrong idea (or, more accurately, fail to get the right idea.) And, I guess truthfully, the blurb on my consulting site is kinda dry.

If ten similar nonprofit organizations came together to build a system that would work for them, they each would get 10 times the software that they could afford individually.

In any event, I have a lot of other skills and knowledge besides databases and coding: skills and knowledge in teaching, in writing, in working with organizations, in facilitation, in religion and spiritual practices, and in working with people, that I want to use now. Perhaps I’m now more ready to wrestle those.
