The last time I saw him was in 2009 in San Francisco at the NTC. I just learned that Rob passed away , leaving behind a wife and two daughters. I got hear the legends in the nptech sector in the early days talk about their work and was inspired. Rob Stuart shared my birthday, Jan. Rob was the godfather. Rob, you will be missed.

My feeling from watching the conversations within the NTEN community is that people DO understand the acquisition costs of FOSS software.
NTEN, the Nonprofit Technology Network, puts on a massive, be-there-or-be-square conference for nonprofit professionals every year (in 2009, we met in San Francisco). But, if you don’t want to wait until April to dive into the knowledge and expertise in the NTEN network, you don’t have to!

I have not been blogging because I've been at the NTEN NTC Conference , the premier event for nonprofit techies taking place in San Francisco. The NpTech Community has been early adopters of social media and social networks like Twitter. I've been coming to this conference for ten years now and it's a like a family reunion.
So maybe, we can get some Linuxchix to get involved in the nptech community, and we can get some nptech women who might be a little shy getting their toes wet with technology installing linux and writing code, with Linuxchix support, and have some nice synergy. at 2:04 pm I’ll second Tory’s thanks.
