They were using music, dance, poetry, and storytelling, and they were succeeding. The third book I did was about the indomitable people in Guatemala [ ยก Viva Colores! ]. In order to get a book published, I was told I had to have a museum exhibit. There had never been a book about festivals that honored women. We did it together.
