I am lucky to be able to contribute this passion to Benetech by providing outreach and membership support in Spanish to the commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Why shouldn’t students in Puerto Rico benefit from our technology and services? Bookshare, and the overall concept of technology serving humanity, was very well received.

High-level government officials have directed these generous people to National VOAD and their member agencies. We are honored that Visionlink, as a corporate partner, has been able to open access to the unaffiliated volunteer system to National VOAD and Volunteer Florida member organizations.

PFLAG is the first and largest national chapter-based organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people, their parents and families, and allies. The PFLAG network consists of more than 400 chapters, which crosses nearly all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.

Notably, the group debated the tension between short-term fixes and long-term systemic change. With many incredible ideas on the table, they committed to moving forward with two community-driven approaches to combat hunger: A Hunger Action Plan to activate our Salesforce ecosystem around long-term systemic changes to fight hunger.

The federal jurisdictions of the Crow Indian Nation of Montana, the Oglala Sioux Tribe, the Navajo Indian Nation and Puerto Rico.
